Why use Canesten Hygiene Laundry Rinse?
People suffering from bacterial or fungal infections like fungal nappy rash and thrush may deposit large quantities of bacteria or fungi in shared laundry. Such items include towels, bed linen and personal items, like socks and underwear.
Normal washing, especially at cold temperatures, may not completely remove bacteria or fungi. This often leads to the bacteria and fungi being passed on to other garments, and ultimately re-infection or cross infection.
How to use?
Washing Machines (Top and Front Loader): Using the clear cup add 2 capfuls of Canesten Hygiene Laundry Rinse into your fabric softener dispenser. For each cupful, measure to the horizontal line marking on the clear cup. Use in addition to your regular laundry detergent. Wash cloths as per washing instructions. If adding manually to your wash, ensure it is added to your final cycle.
Hand Wash: After washing clothes, add 2 capfuls of Canesten Hygiene Laundry Rinse into your final rinse. For each cupful, measure to the horizontal line marked on the clear cup. Ratio 2 capfuls: 10 litres of water.
